Meggan is an alumna of Phillips Academy Andover and Middlebury College, where she graduated with honors and won an NCAA lacrosse championship with the Panthers. After an early career in strategic marketing and development, she returned to the Boston area with her family and has spent more than a decade coaching and mentoring teens. This foundation shapes her direct, empowering approach to college counseling.
Her style mirrors her coaching philosophy: create a partnership, communicate clearly, meet students where they are, and help them rise. She expects engagement, honesty, and hard work, and in return, Meggan gives students the tools and confidence to uncover their strengths and shine, not just in their college applications but in their transition to college life.
Meggan works with students of all academic profiles, guiding them through the admissions process with clarity, strategy, and care. In keeping with the All About Admissions team's shared philosophy, Meggan emphasizes finding the right fit above all else. Families value her calm, steady presence and practical support, always centered on what’s best for each individual student.
She earned her Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, completed the IECA Summer Training Institute, and is an Associate Member of IECA. Meggan recently navigated the college process with the oldest of her three sons. She brings professional insight and relatable personal perspective to every family with whom she works.

Q + A with Meggan
What do you enjoy most about working with students?
I thoroughly enjoy getting to know each student as an individual and watching them grow through this process. Every student comes with a different combination of strengths, interests, and uncertainties, and my role is to help them understand those things clearly enough to make confident decisions. (After all, choosing a college is often the first major decision our students make for themselves.) I find real satisfaction in witnessing a student move from feeling overwhelmed to capable and clear about what they want. When they've made their final decision, I delight in sharing in their excitement.
What makes your approach different?
I approach this work as a partnership. Years spent coaching and developing young athletes taught me how to set clear expectations, hold students accountable to their own goals, and offer steady guidance without taking over the process. I see my role as helping students rise to the occasion; the work and the decisions are ultimately theirs, but they never have to do it alone.
